If possible, I will work at a rate to suit your budget (rates are always negotiable). As a guideline, however, my standard hourly rates (in line with those recommended by the SfEP) are:
- Proofreading - £20.25 per hour
- Copy-editing - £21.80 per hour
- On-screen copy-editing - £23.65 per hour
I also offer a service to students (including proofreading and/or copy-editing essays, research projects, dissertations and theses) and rates start at £5 per 1,000 words.
